Data collected by the app

None. Epokka does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. It has no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier.

Network

The app makes no network request. The epoch countdown is computed on the device from the fixed Cardano protocol parameters (a genesis anchor and an epoch length of 432,000 seconds). The app works with no connection at all, in airplane mode.

Settings

Your preferences (colour theme, display mode, notification settings) stay on your device, in the system's local storage. They are never sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them.

Notifications

Notifications are local: they are scheduled by the device itself from the upcoming epoch boundaries. No push server is involved.

Wallets and keys

Epokka never asks for a wallet, an address, a seed phrase or a private key, and offers no way to enter one.

This website

epokka.app is a static site. It sets no cookie, loads no third-party script, no external font, no analytics and no CDN. The live counter runs entirely in your browser. The site is hosted on a server rented by Cardasoft from OVHcloud (France); like any web server, it keeps standard technical logs (including IP addresses) for security and diagnostics. There is no analytics, no profiling and no third party involved.
